Our Story

Katie Anderson started her career in real estate at the young age of 21 by investing in single family housing, soon becoming a commercial real estate appraiser at age 22. After 4 years of gaining experience in the valuation of real estate, she honed her focus to the utility side of expenses, more specifically, water.

By 29, Katie founded Save Water Co®, and has since gained global recognition for the company’s innovations and solutions to one of the world’s biggest issues. In 2015, Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 chose Katie as a leading ‘game changer’ within the energy space. Just two years later, in 2017, Cartier chose Katie as the winning Laureate of North America for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Award.

She’s assembled an award winning team with backgrounds in energy, science, policy, agriculture, and education. Together they have serviced over 90,000 apartment units, saved over 4 billion gallons of water, and deferred over 2,200 tons from entering landfills. Having a collective passion for approaching issues from a holistic “win-win” approach, the company prides themselves in their level of accuracy, precision, authenticity, and customer service for the solutions they provide.
